PROGRAM:
DAY 1: Check-in at hotel in Kirkenes (from 14.00)
17.45 Pick up at the hotel ACTIVITY: NORHTERN LIGHTS – KING CRAB – SNOWMOBILE TOUR including dinner. Short drive to our facility. Everyone gets warm clothes and a training in snowmobiling. Guided tour with snowmobile out on the ice to the fishing grounds where we pick up King Crab. 2 people share a snowmobile. Along the way several stops to look for the northern lights. The trip takes place in a spectacular landscape with little disturbance of artificial light. Back in the camp, we light a fire and gather in the lavvo where we serve dinner: fresh king crab with accessories. Transfer back to the hotel. 9.30 pm back at the hotel
DAY 2: Breakfast. 13.00 Pick up at the hotel. ACTIVITY: SNOWSHOE TOUR in wilderness. Guided snowshoe tour in the «Winter landscape» in Kirkenes. Snowshoes are an ancient invention that has been used by the indigenous peoples of the Arctic for thousands of years. Before the Sami in northern Scandinavia converted to heaven, they used snowshoes to move quickly over the deep snow, to hunt and herd their reindeer. Now the preferred winter tourist in Norway is skiing, but snowshoeing is still a great means, especially for going up in Arctic mountains. Join us on a guided tour. 15.00 back at the hotel
17.00 Pick up at the hotel ACTIVITY: HUSKY TOUR in sleds, we go out into Europe’s last wilderness. It is a perfect trip to observe the Northern Lights. You are involved in putting the dogs in a team and you have to steer the sled yourself (2 people per sled, one who controls one who sits in the sled), the trip is exclusive with a maximum of 8 guests and a guide who helps you along the way. The trip goes in Pasvikdalen and after dog sledding we serve local dinner.

DAY 3: Breakfast. Transfer to Kirkenes and check into the high-standard cabins “Gamme” at Snowhotel Kirkenes. The cabins have their own WC and shower and large panoramic views. You can spend the day visiting the snow hotel, the dog farm or booking some extra excursions. Or you just go for a walk in the local area. Snowhotel is located about 8 km from Kirkenes in idyllic surroundings by the Langfjord. The day ends with a 3-course dinner in the restaurant «Låven»
DAY 4: Breakfast and check-out.
